Abstraction

Next we’ll explore multiple drawing techniques leading into abstraction. We will experiment with many methods of creating abstract images from observation and from imagination, explore painting techniques, continue developing vocabulary of elements of design, colour theory, and concepts behind abstract artwork. You will study several abstract artists, creating several Investigation Workbook pages about artists that inspire you, and develop a final piece inspired by their style.

Investigation Workbook (IWB) Pages

Here's a running list of pages you are expected to have completed. I will update this regularly, so keep checking back. I will collect your IWB's every Monday and hand them back to you on Wednesdays.
