New Shepaird Fairey Murals

If you don't know the name right away, just imagine the iconic Obama posters from 2008 US Elections (at right) - which by the way he was criticized for unfair use of someone else's photograph to create his artwork. According to wikipedia on this issue, "Fairey said his use of the photograph fell within the legal definition of fair use.[50] Lawyers for both sides tried to reach an amicable agreement. 'Fair use' is determined by how much a new work changes an older one."

So keep it in mind when you find images on Google... you've got to make some kind of significant change to the original work so that you're not just plagiarizing, but making artwork. I'm sure Andy Warhol wouldn't have agreed more.
