Process Portfolio

PictureAlexa Meade http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/alexa-meade-milk-art
Your Process Portfolio is a collection of evidence. It doesn't have to be a specific layout or structure... this gives you so much freedom! You will submit your PP in the form of "Screens" - how you get it onto the screen is up to you.

If you're inspired by other artists, artworks, photos, authors, video games, movies, pinterest, instagram, etc - this is wonderful, but CITE YOUR SOURCES. Try the techniques you see on social media, but make sure you credit where you go the idea. For example, Alexa Meade paints her subjects and then dips them into a pool of milk, creating the dreamy photo/paintings (at left). If you want to try something like this, by all means DO! But be sure in your PP you write that you got inspiration from her.

EVERY IMAGE must be cited.
Your PP will be submitted to IB in PDF.

FOCUS: MAKING ART
This is where you get messy, you explore different ideas and media.
Students are pushed to pursue your own interests, ideas, strengths and be innovative
Submitted work should highlight key milestones in your journey, and it needs to show how you have explored and worked in a variety of techniques, processes, and media.

focused, experimental, developmental, observational, skill-based, reflective, imaginative and creative experiments

NOTE: Any resolved works submitted as part of the PP cannot be re-submitted in the Exhibition. Preliminary work as studies for resolved work in the exhibition is of course encouraged in the PP.
